I have been a stay at home mom since 2008! I have devoted my life to raising my 3 kids and supporting my husband who I have been with for 25 years. We are navigating the life of parents with a kiddo on the spectrum and all that entails. We try to balance advocating for him and educating others as much as we can, while we learn from our little man along the way! Our oldest just graduated high school and is onto college working towards a degree in Nuclear Medicine and our middle kiddo is onto high school next year!

Now adding life as a cancer patient is taking us on a whole new journey. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at age 42, the one thing I will say is I am "lucky" in a lot of aspects of this cancer journey because I stayed on top of my screenings. I found out I have the BRCA1 & CHEK2 genetic mutations and I didn't wait. I got in and got my screenings done immediately and that will be what saved my life in this instance. I have had a double mastectomy and am waiting to see what future care will be. PLEASE do not wait to get mammos, if you have a family history, consider getting a genetic test to see if you have mutations that can lead to cancer, if you do there are many more screenings available to you and can save your life! I found the mutations, got screen, cancer was found in my left breast via an MRI and by the time I had the double mastectomy it was in my right breast and in a lymph node as well. None of this would have been caught on a mammogram. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT! I have a hand ful of videos on tik tok sharing this journey as well. 

I LOVE hockey and the MN Wild above all but, I'm also a big Vikings and Twins fan too, so if you hear someone screaming from my house, there's a game on! 

For as long as I can remember I have always crafted and taken great joy in creating stuff myself. I have been making epoxy tumblers for almost 10 years now. I started after having my youngest as a way for me to have some ME time after the kids went to bed! I still find it very therapeutic. I have branched out to try new things and also do vinyl t shirts, molds and keychains! I dabble in a lot of different things but rest assured if I don't feel I can make something I would feel proud to send out the door, I will be happy to point you in the direction of one of my amazing crafting friends to help you get what you are looking for!
